I love this pub! Firstly the drinks are well priced and well made, secondly they always have an amazing DJ on ( I think his name is Howard?) and lastly the bar staff and management are so friendly and welcoming I wanted to go back straightaway! My favourite place to party in Brighton by far �
Brilliant pub, found the door staff very friendly and funny to, great outside area and the music is to every taste it’s very entertaining, due to all these great things I thought it was going to be very expensive for drinks and it was very cheap, on a sunny day no where better
Writing a positive review to counter the onslaught of 1* ones even tho I haven't been to the Mash Tun in years. While what has happened to Charlie is shocking, I feel like the reaction is massively out of proportion. How are 100+ negative reviews properly representative of ONE documented bad experience?
Charlie's treatment by the two bar staff was appalling (and downright stupid), but people working themselves into a froth on Facebook isn't helping anyone at this point. If you can clearly see the landlord has got the message, why pile on, if not for your own sense of righteous indignation?
